1. Eligibility
The event is open to both Indian and international participants.
2. Prize Categories
To ensure fairness and promote domestic athletic performance, prize categories will be structured as follows:
o Open Category: Open to all participants, regardless of nationality.
o Indian Category: Restricted to Indian nationals only (valid proof of Indian citizenship required).
o Age Category Prizes: Awarded only to Indian nationals, unless explicitly stated otherwise.
3. Prize Money Disbursement
Prize money will be awarded separately for:
o Top finishers in the Open Category (Indian or international)
o Top finishers in the Indian Category, irrespective of their overall position
4. One-Runner-One-Prize Policy
o A participant is eligible for prize money in only one category—either Open or Indian, not both.
o If an Indian runner secures a prize-winning position in both categories, they will receive the prize from the category with the higher cash award.
o The next eligible Indian runner will be moved up in the Indian category rankings.
5. Scenario: No Foreign Nationals Participate
o The Indian Category will be withdrawn, and all prizes will be distributed under the Open Category.
o This decision lies solely with the Race Management Team.
6. Scenario: At Least One Foreign National Participates
o The event will be considered an international race.
o The Indian Category prizes will be retained, regardless of the number of international participants.
o This ensures fair recognition and support for Indian athletes.
7. Verification for Foreign Nationals
o Foreign nationals must present a valid passport and visa at the time of bib collection or upon request by the organizers.
o Failure to comply will result in disqualification and forfeiture of any prize or entitlement.
8. Verification for Prize Winners
o Prize winners may be required to submit valid government-issued ID and citizenship proof for prize disbursal.
o All decisions made by the Race Jury and Organizing Committee will be final and binding.
