By registering for and/or participating in Zafin RISE 2026, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the following Terms & Conditions.
Registration & Participation
• Please select your event category carefully. Confirmed registrations are non-refundable, non-transferable, and cannot be modified.
• Participants are requested to provide a valid email address and mobile number that can be regularly accessed, as these will be the primary channels for event-related communication.
• Registration is deemed complete only upon successful submission and confirmation through the registration platform.
• The organizers reserve the right to reject any registration without assigning reasons. Any amount collected from rejected registrations shall be refunded in full, excluding applicable payment gateway or banking charges.
Event Communication
• By registering, you consent to receive event-related communications through email, SMS, WhatsApp, phone calls, or other communication channels regarding:
- Registration confirmation
- Event updates
- Participant instructions
- Bib collection
- Route information
- Safety advisories
- Event-day communication
- Post-event communication related to Zafin RISE 2026
• Users are advised to whitelist support@myraceindia.com and other official event communication channels to ensure timely receipt of communications.
• Any communication sent to the registered email address or mobile number shall be deemed to have been received by the participant.
Data Privacy & Participant Information
• Registration for Zafin RISE 2026 is facilitated through MyRaceIndia and managed in coordination with Kalamaya Event Management Company Private Limited.
• By registering, you acknowledge that your information will be collected and processed by MyRaceIndia, Kalamaya, and Zafin solely for purposes related to registration, participant communication, event administration, safety management, event execution, and post-event closure activities associated with Zafin RISE 2026.
• Participant information will not be used for unrelated marketing, commercial solicitation, or third-party promotional activities without appropriate consent.
• Participant information may be shared only with:
- Zafin Software Centre of Excellence Pvt. Ltd.
- Kalamaya Event Management Company Pvt. Ltd.
- MyRaceIndia (My Race Timing Solutions)
- Authorized event service providers supporting event execution
• Any optional information collected during registration shall include a stated purpose.
• LinkedIn profile information, where provided, is optional and may be used to support community engagement, professional networking, employer branding, and talent outreach initiatives associated with Zafin RISE 2026.
• Participants may refer to the applicable Privacy Policy and Terms of Use available on the registration platform for further information.
Eligibility
• Participants should ensure they are medically fit to participate in the selected category.
• Participants are strongly advised to consult a physician and undergo a medical assessment before participating in the event.
• Foreign nationals participating in the event shall produce valid passport and visa documentation upon request by the organizers.
Family Run & Minor Participation
• The 2K Family Run category is intended to promote family participation and community engagement.
• Registration for the 2K Family Run must be completed by an adult participant (18 years or above).
• A registered adult participant may accompany one child during the 2K Family Run.
• The accompanying child shall always remain under the supervision of the registered adult participant before, during, and after the event.
• The adult participant shall be solely responsible for the safety, supervision, health, conduct, and well-being of the accompanying child.
• Event communications, confirmations, and operational instructions will be sent to the registered adult participant, who shall be responsible for communicating relevant information to the accompanying child and ensuring compliance with event instructions.
• The organizers reserve the right to review, approve, reject, or modify any registration involving minor participation where required for safety, operational, or compliance reasons.
Assumption of Risk & Medical Declaration
• Participants acknowledge that running, walking, and endurance activities involve inherent risks, including but not limited to falls, collisions, weather-related conditions, road conditions, health complications, and unforeseen incidents.
• Participation is entirely voluntary and at the participant's own risk.
• Participants assume full responsibility for any injury, illness, loss, damage, accident, disability, or death arising from participation in the event.
• Participants agree not to hold Zafin, Kalamaya, MyRaceIndia, sponsors, volunteers, service providers, officials, or any associated entities liable for any such occurrence except where prohibited by law.
Safety & Event Instructions
• Participants agree to comply with all instructions issued by event organizers, race officials, medical personnel, volunteers, marshals, security personnel, and authorized representatives.
• Participants shall stop participating if instructed to do so by:
- Race Director
- Medical Team
- Event Officials
- Safety Personnel
• Participants may be removed from the event for safety reasons, misconduct, or failure to comply with event instructions.
• Participants shall not remain on the course beyond designated cut-off times.
Photography, Media & Publicity
• Participants acknowledge and consent that photographs, video recordings, interviews, audio recordings, drone footage, and other media captured during the event may be used by Zafin and its authorized partners for:
Event promotion
- Corporate communication
- Community engagement
- Employer branding
- Marketing and publicity related to Zafin RISE and future editions of the event
• No compensation shall be payable for such usage.
Event Changes, Cancellation & Force Majeure
• The organizers reserve the right to modify, postpone, suspend, shorten, or cancel the event due to:
- Adverse weather conditions
- Safety concerns
- Government restrictions
- Public health emergencies
- Security threats
- Force majeure events
- Any circumstance beyond reasonable control
• In such situations, registrations shall remain non-refundable and non-transferable.
• The organizers shall not be liable for any losses, expenses, damages, travel costs, accommodation costs, or other costs incurred by participants arising from such changes.
Code of Conduct
• Participants shall conduct themselves responsibly and respectfully throughout the event.
• Any form of abusive behavior, harassment, misconduct, violence, unsafe behavior, damage to property, or actions that may disrupt the event may result in immediate disqualification and removal from the venue.
• The organizers reserve the right to deny participation or remove any participant whose conduct is deemed unsafe or detrimental to the event.
General
• Failure to attend the event shall not entitle a participant to any refund or transfer of registration.
• The organizers reserve the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time, with updated versions being published through official event channels.
Any dispute arising in connection with participation in Zafin RISE 2026 shall be subject to the laws of India and the jurisdiction of courts in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala.
